SBM History

SBM - Then and now

The mineral processing division has successfully established the newly developed standard series of mobile crushing and screening pants in the market.

After Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia, SBM has now also become the market leader in Germany with concrete mixing plants.

SBM takes over the concrete division from the company Doubrava and strengthens its position as a full-range supplier in the field of mobile and stationary concrete mixing plants.

SBM adds stationary concrete mixing plants to its product portfolio, which makes SBM a full-range supplier for ready-mixed and prefab concrete.

SBM moves on the 1st of July to a new company building that is 5 km away, in Oberweis close to Gmunden..

SBM Mineral Processing GmbH has been taken over by Maschinenfabrik Liezen’s associates – Group Haider, Heinrich Obernhuber and Krünes Consulting GmbH. This is a huge step forward to present and even expand two well established brands in the field of mineral processing – MFL and SBM – on the world market in the years to come. SBM becomes the technology centre for processing technology and concrete mixing plants in the MFL group of companies.

The company’s new name „SBM Mineral Processing GmbH“ indicates the company’s strategic reorientation towards international markets. SBM Mineral Processing positions itself as a provider of customizable, turnkey solutions.
