SBM - Then and now

2016
The mineral processing division has successfully established the newly developed standard series of mobile crushing and screening pants in the market.

2015
After Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia, SBM has now also become the market leader in Germany with concrete mixing plants.

2013
SBM takes over the concrete division from the company Doubrava and strengthens its position as a full-range supplier in the field of mobile and stationary concrete mixing plants.

2012
SBM adds stationary concrete mixing plants to its product portfolio, which makes SBM a full-range supplier for ready-mixed and prefab concrete.

2012
SBM moves on the 1st of July to a new company building that is 5 km away, in Oberweis close to Gmunden..

2011
SBM Mineral Processing GmbH has been taken over by Maschinenfabrik Liezen’s associates – Group Haider, Heinrich Obernhuber and Krünes Consulting GmbH. This is a huge step forward to present and even expand two well established brands in the field of mineral processing – MFL and SBM – on the world market in the years to come. SBM becomes the technology centre for processing technology and concrete mixing plants in the MFL group of companies.

2006
The company’s new name „SBM Mineral Processing GmbH“ indicates the company’s strategic reorientation towards international markets. SBM Mineral Processing positions itself as a provider of customizable, turnkey solutions.

2005
NVI BeteiligungsGmbH acquires SBM Wageneder GmbH.

1988
Walter Hackmair acquires SBM Wageneder and revitalizes the subsidiaries in Bochum and Kitzingen. The production and office premises in Laakirchen are extended at the same time.

1970
SBM builds the first production plant; the second works follows in 1972. The company changes its name to "SBM Maschinenfabrik F. Wageneder GmbH" in 1974. 1978 SBM Wageneder acquires PWH – Weserhütte, Cologne.

1950
Franz Wageneder, the owner of a sand and gravel works, founds SBM Wageneder and builds his first impact/grinding mill.
