New special feed hopper to process excavated soil

The feed hopper unit developed by SBM engineers convinces due to its high processing efficiency and ensures even feeding of the secondary soil processing plant. A decisive feature is that neither unwanted additive materials such as wood, plastics or textiles nor oversize stones or concrete parts will be processed.
A special protective grid makes sure that only usable material is fed into the hopper.

Grid functions

• Vibratory transport of light materials due to laterally mounted unbalance motors
• Oversize material is dumped
  - Without interrupting the conveying process into the plant
  - Automatic cleaning cycle due to hydraulic opening of grid (cycle time under 15 seconds)
• No emptying of the hopper during tilting
• No production stops

This innovative recycling unit has an average feed capacity of 180 t/h and scores due to its excellent and profitable operation.
