Presentation of the New Compact Class –
Mobile Jaw Crusher JAWMAX^® 1006 ECO/MAXI

The newcomer series of SBM Mineral Processing combines the joint know-how of the brands SBM and MFL. The technically sophisticated, compact and powerful track-mobile jaw crusher plant presents itself for the first time with a screening unit.

This new member of the SBM family is ideal to crush rocks and recycling material and uses its strengths to the optimum. The plant convinces due to optimised work processes and proven manufacturing quality to assure profitable and homogeneous final products in a single step.

Gap Release Control to Assure More Safety
The single toggle jaw crusher type STE 100.60 ASV is the centrepiece of the plant. Two innovations assure more safety. On the first hand the new overload protection function prevents that "unbreakable parts" damage or block the crusher. On the other hand the crushing gap is opened by the automatic gap adjustment, the part can safely leave the crusher and the moveable crusher jaw moves back to the pre-defined home position. The crushing process can be continued without any further delay. Additionally, direction of rotation and speed can be regulated fully automatically by the control.

 At a throughput capacity of up to 200 t/h STE 100.60 ASV masters feed sizes of 950 mm x 550 mm which can be processed to a final grain size of 0/50 mm-0/200 mm.

Due to the improved pre-screening with conical vibrating grizzly bars the material is efficiently separated even before the crushing process has started.

JAWMAX^® 1006 MAXI including Screening Unit
As a first, SBM supplies a compact mobile jaw crusher plant plus screening unit to obtain homogeneous screening results in one step. The single-deck circular vibratory screening unit with the dimensions 2,500 mm x 1,200 mm can be provided with various screen linings assuring oversize-free final products suitable for immediate further processing.

Easy to Transport and Eco-friendly
Easy to handle transport dimensions and environmental friendliness complete the package of benefits JAWMAX^®. Its transport dimensions of 10 m x 2.6 m x 3.2 m and a total weight of 29.7 tons allow easy and economical transportation on standard flat bed trailers ensuring maximum mobility here as well. The diesel-electric drive concept and the electric track drive score with improved efficiency and reduced oil consumption in comparison to hydraulic systems.

Non-stop Production of Concrete in the Alps – LINEMIX^® 3000 CM 410 H 

Only the most efficient suppliers and partners are employed where latest engineering is called for and strict environmental regulations have to be observed under extreme climatic conditions. A major challenge at the exemplary power plant project Obervermunt II of VIW – Vorarlberger Illwerke AG in the Silvretta region/Austria is the year-round just-in-time production of concrete at an altitude of 1,700 m. 

Ideal Choice
Mobile concrete mixing plants type LINEMIX^® made by SBM are the ideal choice for these challenging sites as they show their impressive performance once again at this project. Two LINEMIX^® 3000 CM 410 H plants are used in parallel in the Silvretta region to assure trouble-free and continuous production of concrete until October 2017. This is carried out by using a twin-shaft mixer with 3.0 m³ each to mix 130 m³ of quality concrete per hour depending on the required mixing time.

Trouble-free Logistics
Centrepieces of the building activity are the underground hydroelectric power station and the access adit where our client, the company Transbeton GesmbH & Co.KG from Nüziders, has started mineral processing directly in front of the dam wall of Vermuntspeicher. There the rocks to produce concrete are processed from the excavated material on the site. Rock storage is carried out by a mobile high hopper with a storage capacity of 410 m³. To be able to assure a 24/7 operation throughout the year both the rock storage and the mixing plant are provided with a completely winterproof insulation.
